1.FUNDING SOURCE The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), as part of the services provided to its beneficiary partner countries, is financing the present procurement, in the framework of Construcción de Viaducto y Ampliación de Carretera CA01W (Tramo Los Chorros).2.EXECUTOR AND CONTRACTOR OF THE PROCESS 2.1 The executor of this process is: . 2.2 The executor is responsible for the present procurement process for which names the Executive Comitte and invites the submission of tenders for the required contract. 2.3 The Contractor will be selected following the procedures of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration, established in the Policies and Protocols for the Procurement of Goods, Works, Services and Consultancies, which can be found in the website: https://www.bcie.org.3. PROCESS PRESENTATION 3.1 General Objectives of the procurement:
Establish a definitive and comprehensive solution to the dense traffic and vulnerability of the Carretera a los Chorros as soon as possible, always prioritizing the well-being of the population, seeking the most technically and financially viable alternative. In accordance with the Global Investment Plan, the EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE, AND HARDWARE OF THE EXECUTIVE UNIT AND MOPT are required. These entities will ensure technical, legal, and financial compliance of the projects, as well as compliance with the Bank's internal policies. Within this context, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport deems it necessary to carry out the acquisition of the EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE, AND HARDWARE OF THE EU.
3.2 The Executor makes available to the interested parties all the documentation related with this process, required for the preparation of the tenders.
